All Events are subject to our T&C's and house rules below:

  • Any balance is payable 14 days prior to the event to retain your booking and allow us to purchase / rent whatever is required to host your event.

    • We MAY at our discretion decide to refund the deposit or part thereof if we managed to replace the booking, though a R500 admin fee will always apply.
  • We are situated in a natural setting next to the Knysna forest, so you can expect sounds, views, smells associated with the forest.
  • We are child-friendly but we regret NOT pet friendly. We have dogs, chickens, cats and horses of our own on the property. Since we have animals and ponds on the property, please be mindful to remain responsible for your children's safety at all times.
  • We are not suitable for wild, super-loud or raucous parties as we are situated in a tranquil setting. However music will be arranged or provided, and reasonable volume constraints will be adhered to.
  • You can pre-arrange the date and timing of your event. We can provide access, e.g. for the bride, for half a day prior in order to prepare on site, if required.
  • We do not provide accommodation on our premises at present; however, we are very happy to assist you in finding the perfect accommodation to suit your taste and budget from the selection of bed & breakfasts and self-catering accommodations in our area. Please make sure you can get accommodation before booking your event (e.g. for peak periods like Easter, Dec/Jan or the Oyster Festival).
  • Being a farm venue, we regret we are not wheelchair friendly as outdoor weddings may become problematic for accessibility.
